Mix Master Tip: Making muvees is a piece of cake!
We are not kidding. Here’s how easy it is.
1. Click on ‘Start’ to begin your journey to muveeStardom.

2. Click on ‘Add vid/pics’ to browse for the media files you would like to add to your muvee concoction. (Put in video if you can)

Move on by clicking on ‘Next’ or the ‘Add music’ tab on the progress bar.
3. Now, click on ‘My music’ to add your favorite piece of music, or give our in-house musician a pat on the back by picking one of his self-composed tunes.

4. Select a style, which are themed templates containing effects and transitions that dance to the beat of your chosen music. You can click on the ‘play’ button to view a short preview of each style. (Don’t know what styles to choose?)

5. Almost there! Give your muvee a title and credit or if you prefer not to, just click on ‘Make muvee’, sit back and let our mixing magic get to work.

6. Opps! One last thing (I promise). You will be prompted to sign in or register an account if you haven’t previously done so. Knowing your email address will help us deliver muvees to the rightful owners.

And for newbies, please remember to activate your account once you are done with registration. If you do not see any emails from muveeMix, dig into the spam/ junk folder. And if all else fails, holler for help by clicking on ‘Tell us’.

7. Your muvee will take about 3 to 10 minutes to arrive in your gallery depending on the amount of videos/pictures you have thrown into your mixing concoction. Even if the muvee thumbnail appears as ‘Coming soon’ in your gallery, you can still click on it and link/ embed the muvee player in your blog or website. Your muvee would automatically be loaded into the player residing on your blog or website once it is ready.

Spread the love
With a marketing budget consisting of nothing but bumper accounts and lotsa love, we believe (not that we have much of a choice *winks*) that these would help increase our user base by a million every year!
So you heard us. Here’s a call to all of you who love, like, adore, fancy, dig, favor, hanker for (and any other synonyms that could possibly come out from the thesaurus) muveeMix just like we do, we need you to help us spread the word.
Email your friends through our ‘Get my friends mixing’ function and if 5 of them sign up, we’ll bump you up with extra storage space and 5 extra styles.
And if you are a blogger or a webmaster with designer blood flowing in your veins, try your hand at creating muveeMix/ muveeStar web buttons. Don’t worry if you know peanuts about html, send your graphic to us and we’ll transform the top designs into embeddable web buttons for all muveeMix users to use. Yes, we’ll throw in a bumper account if your design is chosen.
To get started:
1) Download the muveeMix graphic kit. We have templates in .psd, .ai and .gif formats for you to work on depending on your preference.
2) After creating the design, flatten the image to a .jpg, .gif or .png file.
3) Submit your design to ash@muveemix.com
And here are some guidelines:
1) You are free to submit as many designs as you wish.
2) You could add in additional images or graphics to spice up the web button but you must own the copyright of that image or graphic. Please do not use images or graphics that infringe on someone else’s copyright, trademark or license.
3) We reserve the right to use your submitted designs for ‘spread muveeMix’ initiatives, specifically in transforming the designs into embeddable web buttons and offering it to all users on the muveeMix site.

Mix Master Tip: It’s all about the style
“What style should I choose?” - the all too familiar question that folks always ask when they hit the ‘Select a style’ page of their muvee making process. Hence, I figured the best person to answer this is the one who eats and sleeps with them, the Style Director! Her name’s Karen and here are some tips from the guru’s mouth.
Urban:
Get your blood pumping with Urban muveeStyle! We designed it for the adrenalin junkie in you! Oh yeah… Its great for those skateboarding, skydiving, bike racing, break dancing, snowboarding…etc photos/videos that you’ve been collecting! Next, add your favorite song that gets your booty shakin’… and trust me… your muvee is gonna rock the house down. *sizzle sizzle drizzle*
Recommended no. of photos: 30 to 40 photo Recommended amount of video: 5mins
Smoky:
Time to get seriously sentimental with this muveeStyle. Its classy, slow, its black and white, its all about milking the most out of those emotional moments.
Use this style with all of your most sentimental moments, like special birthday parties, weddings, graduation ceremonies… you get the idea…
*Have those hankies on standby. We’re gonna make your mothers weep.
Recommended no. of photos: 15 to 25 photos

muveeStar feature: Confessions of a groupie
If you love MUSE as much as I do, check out this muvee made by a fellow friend or fan rather,of MUSE’s first performance in Singapore (that’s where I reside currently if you don’t happen to know). The dazzling glare of spotlights, a band screaming of panache and a sea of bobbing heads all done in good old groupie fashion, which I’m proud to confess I’m part of…

Windows Live Spaces embed
Bloggers on Windows Live Spaces have been rejoicing over the past week when the Spaces team announced the long awaited feature to embed videos directly into blog entries.
But to the disappointment of some of you here, Spaces seems to block muveeMix embed codes. I can’t say what’s up with it yet until Spaces come back with advice on how to fix this. I’m delighted, however, that they replied this morning with assurance they are on it.
“We have a white list of providers for security purposes – looks like you guys aren’t yet on the list. I will look into it.”
In the meantime, I wanna thank Scøtt, for adding support in his video plug-in for muveeMix videos in Windows Live Writer. The video plug-in will work for muveeMix once we get our codes ‘unblocked’.
So hang in there folks while we do our best to bring the joy of sharing on Spaces to you.

muveeStar feature: Here’s to you pooch lovers
Good things come in pairs and voila! they really did! Got told about 2 great muvees this week and coincidentally, they were muvees about dogs. I watched both of them one after the other and loved the fact that the muvees, though featuring the same subject (dogs) made me go “Awww” and then “WoWww”.
Check out ‘Puppy Lady’s’ sweet muvee on her English Sheepdogs.
[SWF]http://www.muveemix.com/flash/muveeloader.swf, 332, 312, muveeid=15660[/SWF]
and then get ready to be entertained by ‘xtrakrazyone’s’ cool muvee of his super dog.

The mini emotional roller coaster ride was enjoyable. Thanks both - the awesome choice of music did the trick.

muveeStar feature: Greetings from Genova
[SWF]http://www.muveemix.com/flash/muveeloader.swf, 332, 312, muveeid=14392[/SWF]
A group of comedians from Genova, Italy put together a muvee of their performance - La Notte del Big Remescio (”The night of the the Big Remescio” was what Babelfish translated it to be.) A bunch of pretty interesting folks from what I see. Look forward to seeing more videos from you guys, maybe a funny muvee next? I think pairing comedic footage with bright and shiny music like those of ‘Saloon Rag’ would send some giggles to everyone’s day…

Justine picked us up
muveeMix was picked by Justine magazine as their ‘FaveMediaSite’ for the month of January ‘07. And I’m pleasantly surprised when I got mails from users commenting that they would never have known about this cool service if not for the article snippet. Kudos Justine! *big smiles*
